What I've figured out over the years is that gift giving can be really hard. It is tough to find something that your friend, mom, any woman in general will love and appreciate (yes, I know we are hard to shop for). I try to do my very best to find items that are different. Something out of the ordinary that can be USED is generally going to be appreciated. If it fits in with their personality as well, you've got a winning gift! Do your best to find out what someone likes, what interests them, and go from there. I have listed a few ideas below of what can be some great gifts.
Have you ever Instagrammed your tea? You might if you get this! As you can see above, you start off with a dried looking pod that when placed into the hot water to steep, opens up into a flower. You'll get peach green tea, jasmine green tea, and chrysanthemum green tea. The pot is not included but I linked a good one here. $21
I was looking for a cute gift for a longtime friend of mine that lives in Canada that would be special but something she could also use. This girl likes her coffee, so I found a little Etsy shop that makes customized mugs for long distance friends. So cute! This is perfect if you have a friend that lives far from you (and you'd also get a mug) OR there are also really cute options to give to a friend who lives close by. To get the multiple long distance friends, click here. To get the 2 long distance friends, click here. To get the single mug, click here. $18
I love scarves.. I am from up North so that makes sense. But blanket scarves are comfortable, warm, stylish, and incredibly useful. I brought mine on my trip to Italy and Scotland last year as a blanket for the plane ride and ended up using it my entire time in Scotland (it was very cold.. shorts in Italy, coats in Scotland. Not ok). There are so many color options these days and almost every store carries them so you shouldn't have any problems finding them. The color above is one I own and have gifted many times, you can find it here.
I loooooooove these ballet flats! I constantly have women asking me if they are worth the price and if they really are comfortable. I am telling you honestly, they are both super comfy and worth the price. I used to purchase a lot of flats and they always gave me blisters or had zero support on the bottom of the shoe. I have never had blisters from these shows (and I have walked over 10 miles in one day in them). These are the shoes I bring when I go on vacation and know I'll be running around a city. There are so many different colors and believe me when I say, whoever you gift these to, will love them! If you don't know which color to gift someone, go for a staple (Matte Black, Cardinal Red, Chestnut, or California Navy). $175
I am not kidding! It has been proven that coloring helps you calm down and de-stress. And it's super duper fun! Sitting down to color isn't for everyone (that's why some choose to read or listen to music), but if you know someone who would enjoy it, these books are my favorites. Illustrated by Johanna Basford, some of the pictures are very detailed and some are a little more chill depending on your mood. If you do get a book, be sure to add in some markers or colored pencils as well. $10
Please only get this if the female you are gifting likes to workout and/or wear workout clothing. Fabletics is a workout clothing line full of fantastic quality clothes that I love! You can sign up to get an outfit every month (and skip months if you choose to do so) or just purchase whenever you see something you like. Instead of buying something specific (unless you know the exact color and size), grabbing a gift card is a great option here. There are so many outfit options to choose from that are all super cute and stylish, you really can't go wrong. If you don't want to just hand someone a gift card, stick it in a gym bag or water/shaker bottle.
I know.. You might be thinking, socks? Really? I gave a pair of o-so-soft socks to each of my friends last year and I'm sure at least one of them thought they were the low-point of the gifting. Then I started getting texts from the ladies I gave them to singing praises because of how soft and cozy they are. Not only are these incredibly cozy, they are adorable! From left to right, the socks above are: UGG Fleece Lined Socks $50, Deer Plush Socks $15, Butter 2-pack Ankle Socks $14 (another option a little cheaper), Lamb Plush Socks $15, UGG Sparkle Cable Knit Socks $45, Panda Plush Socks $15
I can't finish off a gift list for the ladies without talking about my favorite jewelry line! To see more, please head over to the Chloe + Isabel section of this site.
