I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, and at the age of 13 my parents moved our family down to Houston, Texas. After my 4 years of high school, I was unhappy and needed to get out of the state. I applied to one university in Paris, was accepted, and moved to France. Since then, I have also lived in Brooklyn, New York, and spent some time on my own back home in Montreal. After years of moving around, I found my way back to Texas to spend time with my growing family (my brother married a fantastic woman and I am an Auntie to the cutest little girl ever!).
I studied Business, Film, Fashion Design, History, Theatre and Psychology during my university years. My degree was supposed to be something I could fall back on in case my real love, acting, didn’t work out. Turns out, planning for failure isn’t my style and I moved on from school to pursue my career in acting.
I love cooking and eating (I am Italian and German, so this isn’t a stretch). I have a lot of different food allergies which force me to get creative and put together healthy and interesting meals. All the recipes I post can be modified according to your own likes and dislikes. If you are curious about an ingredient or want to know if you can change something, don’t hesitate to ask in a comment.
My love of food also fuels my love for travel. Learning about a new place, the history, the architecture, the art, the food, and the locals excite me more than anything else in the world. I caught the travel bug years ago when I first visited where my parents grew up in Europe, and I hope to visit every city on my very long list.
